The owners of a chain of stores called Hobby Lobby don’t like Obamacare. In particular, they really don’t like the part that requires insurance companies to cover contraceptives. Normally, people who don’t like a law petition the government to change…
I’m sorry but this is absurd. They aren’t saying their employees can’t use birth control, they just aren’t going to pay for it. I understand the concern of the article, and many of the other religions that are mentioned in the intro could potentially pose a concern, but most of those are incredibly small groups of people and I have yet to hear of a company under those specific beliefs. Regardless, I stand by my original statement that anybody that works for a company and is dissatisfied with the level of coverage provided to them, or even just disagrees with their belief system, has the right to quit and work somewhere else. I will agree that this should have been handled by trying to change the law, because I don’t think a company should be REQUIRED to pay for something that isn’t medically necessary.
I can’t help loving you
